Job Description
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore
Work Experience: 3-6 years
OVERALL OBJECTIVES:
The goal of Functional Analyst is to clearly understand the functional requirements of the solution and document it in simple and understandable language.
The objective will be to create excellent documentation, business process models and work as a liaison between the Business Analyst and the development team.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
Experience
- Strong and proven background in Information Technology.
- Experience with relational databases required.
- Past experience as a technical writer/Business Analyst/Functional Analyst.
- Experience in writing Functional Specification Documents.
- Expertise in creating business process model diagrams.
Personal Skills
- Very good English communication skills (concise writing and orally convincing).
- Very good interpersonal skills at all levels of the organization.
- Ability to work in a complex international environment.
- Responsive problem solver and proactive actions.
- Eager to learn and continuously develop personal and technical capabilities.
Qualifications
- M.Sc., B.Sc. or equivalent in Information Technology or comparable field.
- Experience in working with US/Europe clients.
- At least 3 to 6 years in an IT environment (implementation if possible) preferably in an industrial or process driven environment and ideally in the laboratory industry.
- At least 3 years as a Technical Writer in an IT environment.
- Good business understanding in order to facilitate discussions from top managers to end users.
