To facilitate the continuous growth in the service we are looking for a Certification Service Manager with experience in the area of VOC emission testing and certification of construction products. The Indoor Air Comfort Gold Certification combines various requirements on VOC emissions in Europe in one setup simplifying complicated issues. With that certification we offer a service that helps our customers to differentiate themselves from competition and to protect their brand by securing product and production quality.

The person we are looking for has a high level of attention to detail and customer focus in every aspect. This requires solid understanding of the certification and testing requirements and self-confident appearance in customer visits and audits of the production sites. Your customers will be mainly based in Europe and Asia within the construction product sector, mainly floor coverings, insulation material and coatings.

In the role as Certification Service Manager, you will be the responsible contact between the customer, the sales organization and the laboratory. In your daily work you will be responsible for customer support including preparation and update of quotations for existing and new customers, coordinating the relevant testing and audits of production sites with the internal laboratories and audit responsible. It will be your job to maintain data in our certification planning tool. It will also be your task to review testing and audit reports, to issue certification reports and certificates based on these and to perform parts of the audits of the production sites (factory production control) within Europe. The job requires travelling mainly within Europe for client visits, audits and coordination meetings with the certification team and the sales organization. Expected travel time is less than 15% for this position.

You will be part of the certification team who work in their respective local offices around Europe and Asia. You will report to the Head of the Certification Body, who is based in Germany and linked to the laboratory of Eurofins Product Testing in Denmark. Your base will be at Eurofins Product Testing A/S in Galten, Denmark.

We expect you to have a degree in a related scientific subject and that you have proven experience with certification of construction products or quality management systems with basic knowledge of certification processes and relevant standards. Alternatively, you have proven experience with VOC emission testing with basic knowledge of relevant VOC emission requirements and schemes for construction products.

You have effective communication skills both written and oral in English and a second European language. Further language skills will be an advantage. Ideally you have a basic understanding of production processes of construction products like floor coverings, insulation material and coatings, but most important is that you have a quick readiness of mind, a structured and disciplined way of working and that you are a team player, that can work on distance with your colleagues in the certification team.
