Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Business Partner to play a key role in delivering accurate, insightful, and timely revenue reporting across our business. In this role, you will work closely with Business Unit Managers, the Accounts Receivable team, and the wider Finance department to ensure robust financial controls, clear analysis, and effective support for decision‑making. You will be involved in month‑end revenue processes, auditing requirements, KPI development, and cross‑company reporting, contributing to the financial integrity and operational success of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Management accounts production responsible for month end revenue reporting and correct allocation across 20 Business Unit’s
- Responsible for accrued sales and WIP reporting in line with Group and internal audit requirements
- Reconciliation of monthly revenue and main point of contact for all Business Unit Managers revenue queries
- Strong involvement in the day-to-day work of the Accounts Receivable department assisting both the AR team and the Account Managers
- Support Business Unit Managers around the country in the financial control of their areas, reviewing and explaining analysis of results and proposing improvements
- Help to report and explain Cluster led monthly results across Cellmark, Synlab and Toxlab – all sister companies
- Assist in the development of financial controls and support the Business Unit Managers in understanding and implementing those controls
- Assist in the development of product-level cost and profitability analysis
- Work with the Finance Manager and Head of Finance to develop regular KPI and profit reporting and analysis for use by key stakeholders across the business
- Assist the Head of Finance and Finance Manager with ad hoc duties and projects

Qualifications
- Part qualified, newly qualified or qualified by experience
- Commercially aware
- Highly numerate and analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Advanced excel skills including pivot tables, VLook up etc
- Used to dealing with and interpreting large volumes of data
- Ability to liaise with people at all levels across the organisation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-moving environment

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance is required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK.
