Job Description

We are a software development company located in Dresden-Hellerau (Germany), dedicated to creating solutions that play a vital role in solving crimes. Our products support criminal investigation offices, forensic institutes, and DNA laboratories in building offender profiles, analysing evidence, and ultimately helping to resolve cases.

As part of our growth, we are looking for a Software Developer to join our team. This role is open to developers at different stages of their careers - from experienced professionals to junior developers, recent graduates, and students who are eager to gain or further develop their skills.

In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our Eclipse RCP-based framework solution and support both analysis and implementation tasks. You will collaborate closely with experienced developers to carry out feasibility and performance assessments, work with databases, and execute basic SQL queries. The role also involves debugging and optimising existing applications to ensure efficiency and reliability.

You will become an active member of an agile development team, working with methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. After a comprehensive onboarding process, you will take on responsibilities aligned with your experience level and gradually manage and organise your own tasks independently.

Who Should Apply?

We welcome applications from experienced software developers as well as junior developers, recent graduates, and students who are looking to gain their first professional experience. For candidates at an early stage of their careers, we offer strong mentoring, structured onboarding, and flexible working arrangements that can be adapted to study schedules or personal commitments.

Regardless of your level of experience, you will have the opportunity to work on meaningful projects, collaborate with skilled colleagues, and grow professionally in a supportive and agile environment.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed vocational training or holds a university degree in computer science or a related field. A sound understanding of software development in Java, along with initial experience using Eclipse, is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, as well as fluency in both German and English, written and spoken. Above all, we value individuals who are eager to learn and committed to continuous professional development.

What we offer?

  • Flexible working arrangements - full-time, part-time, internships, or student contracts, plus permanent employment options,
  • A dynamic, motivated team that values your expertise,
  • Mentoring from experienced colleagues to support your growth,
  • Agile work culture with diverse and engaging tasks,
  • Flexible working hours and mobile work options,
  • A permanent employment contract - we invest in long-term collaboration,
  • Professional development opportunities,
  • Corporate benefits programme,
  • Subsidies for public transport and cafeteria meals,
  • Team events and health-focused initiatives.
