Job Description
Overview:
Eurofins’ corporate development team leads the execution of the company’s strategic business and financial goals through merger and acquisition activity across all business lines. Our inorganic growth is a key component of Eurofins’ overall strategy.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Analyst to support our growth initiatives within the environmental landscape in the US by identifying and engaging with potential acquisition targets, managing CRM systems, and delivering actionable reporting and insights. This role is critical in driving pipeline development, maintaining data integrity, and supporting strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach & Engagement:
- Identify and research potential acquisition targets or strategic partners.
- Initiate and manage outreach efforts via email, phone, and other channels.
- Coordinate initial conversations and maintain communication logs.
- Facilitating in-person visits with potential acquisition targets.
- CRM Management:
- Maintain and update the CRM system to ensure accurate tracking of outreach, interactions, and deal progress.
- Ensure data cleanliness and consistency across all records.
- Develop and implement CRM workflows to support business development processes.
- Reporting & Analytics:
- Generate regular reports and dashboards to track outreach activity, pipeline status, and conversion metrics.
- Analyze trends and performance data to support strategic planning and prioritization.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data to improve outreach effectiveness and deal flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales operations, or a similar analytical role.
- Strong proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and Excel or other data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
