    Job Description

    We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Specialist to join our team. This role will be essential in providing assistance to users, solving inquiries, and ensuring the smooth operation of in-house developed applications. The ideal candidate will be able to monitor and implement necessary administrative changes within the system and serve as a primary point of contact for technical and application-related support.

    Business Support Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

     

    • Respond to and resolve user inquiries, providing timely support for in-house applications.
    • Monitor and manage administrative changes within the system to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues in the applications.
    • Assist in the documentation of support processes, FAQs, and system updates.
    • Provide end-user training and guidance on the proper use of applications when needed.
    • Identify recurring issues and collaborate with the development team to improve the user experience.
    • Assist in user account management and system configuration adjustments.
    • Stay up to date with application updates and changes to ensure continuous system improvement.

      Qualifications

      Minimum Educational Qualifications:

      • Associates degree in life sciences, computer science, or another related science or engineering curriculum

      Minimum Qualifications:

       

      • Understanding of business process flow and design
      • Prior experience in a systems support role
      • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
      • Strong organizational, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
      • Capability to learn new software functionality and systems

      Additional Information

      Position is full-time working Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
