Job Description

Based in France and reporting to the Assurance Sales Director, this position requires an International Business Development Manager with strong service aptitudes who will contribute to the significant growth of the Healthcare Assurance Services (Audit, Certification, Advisory, and Training) business worldwide.

The International Business Development Manager (FR) is responsible for generating new business, maintaining, and expanding relationships with existing clients/key accounts, and driving revenue growth for the company's global services across international markets. This position requires an individual with strong sales and business development skills, the ability to understand complex services, and a deep knowledge of global markets and cultural nuances. The Sales Representative will play a critical role in identifying prospects, building relationships, and closing deals to meet and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Key Account Management

    • Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with a defined list of key accounts.
    • Act as the main point of contact for the key accounts.
    • Understand key accounts' needs and goals to provide tailored solutions.
    • Follow up on leads and qualify opportunities.
    • Ensure client satisfaction and repeat business by providing excellent sales support and identifying opportunities.
    • Schedule and lead frequent meetings with key accounts to foster strong relationships and address customer needs.
    • Support Global Key Account Managers with daily operations.
  2. New and Existing Business Development

    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, serving as a trusted advisor and resource for their business needs.
    • Actively prospect and identify new sales opportunities in international markets.
    • Develop and maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified leads through cold calling, email campaigns, industry events, networking, and implementation of the shared audit and resell strategy.
    • Initiate and lead outreach efforts with potential clients, setting appointments and engaging in sales discussions to understand their specific business challenges.
    • Promote shared audit and resell strategy to audited sites.
  3. Sales Presentations

    • Conduct service presentations and on-site/virtual meetings tailored to the specific needs of international clients.
    • Effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's services, addressing any technical or operational questions from clients (with support from the technical team).
    • Work closely with the internal technical team to ensure that the solution fits the client’s requirements and provide necessary documentation or proposals.
  4. Negotiation and Closing Deals

    • Lead negotiations on pricing, contract terms, and service agreements, ensuring both client satisfaction and alignment with company goals.
    • Close sales and sign contracts to meet or exceed monthly and annual sales and revenue targets.
  5. Sales Reporting and Forecasting

    • Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline and forecast sales using CRM tools.
    • Provide regular sales reports and performance updates to management, detailing progress towards sales targets, key wins, and areas for improvement.
    • Track sales metrics such as lead/opportunity conversion rate, sales cycle length, and customer acquisition costs, ensuring targets are met.
  6. Collaboration with Local Teams (BUs)

    • Work closely with local teams (BUs), including sales and operations, to ensure alignment on sales goals and lead generation.
    • Share feedback and customer insights with senior leadership to enhance product offerings and tailor marketing strategies.
  7. Travel and International Engagement

    • Travel as needed to meet with prospective and existing clients (key accounts, customers, and suppliers).
    • Represent the company at key industry events, conferences, and forums related to GxP audits.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in professional services business development.
  • Working knowledge of the healthcare industry and the related supply chain.
  • Experience in the audit/certification service would be a plus.
  • Fluent French and English.
  • Tenacious and results-oriented salesperson with a demonstrated ability to obtain significant sales results.
  • Self-starter able to work autonomously with the highest professional ethics.
  • Outstanding active listener to elicit information and understand a client or prospect’s pinch points.
  • Clear understanding of value-added and consultative selling techniques.
  • Ability to quickly understand/analyze a client’s pinch points and offer solutions with measurable value generation and return on investment.
