Job Description
The EEOC and Data Privacy Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate collection, review, and submission of employee data to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other government agencies, as well as supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of our data privacy compliance program, ensuring adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Gathers, compiles, analyzes, and interprets data necessary for external (government) and internal EEO compliance, reporting, and monitoring. Data may include recruitment, hiring, terminations, promotions, disciplinary actions, salaries, applicant flows, and transfers.
- Plans, completes, and files required EEO and/or affirmative action reports and documentation with government agencies.
- Uses appropriate statistical software or tools to measure and monitor equal opportunity and affirmative action plan compliance.
- Reports survey results, statistics, and recommendations for corrective action to the Equal Employment Opportunity Manager and other appropriate stakeholders.
- Prepares reports of data results, presenting and explaining findings to senior leadership or stakeholders.
- Identifies and recommends reasonable short- and long-term goals, milestones, and benchmarks for key performance metrics.
- May conduct or assist with conducting classification audits to ensure that jobs are properly classified as exempt or nonexempt.
- Develops, implements, and maintains a comprehensive data privacy program aligned with legal requirements.
- Conducts risk assessments and audits to identify and mitigate privacy risks.
- Creates and updates privacy policies, procedures, and training materials and leads privacy training and awareness initiatives across the organization.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for data protection authorities and manage data subject requests.
- Collaborates with IT, legal, and other departments to ensure data privacy is integrated into business processes.
- Monitors compliance with data privacy laws and regulations, providing guidance and recommendations.
- Stays updated on emerging privacy trends and regulations to adapt the program accordingly.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Working knowledge of human resource information systems (HRIS).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, Information Technology or other related field required.
- At least three years of experience in human resources with an emphasis on EEO policies, affirmative action required.
- At least three years of experience in related areas such as job classification and compensation, recruitment, selection, training, and/or equal opportunity compliance preferred.
- At least three years experience in data privacy.
- Experience with project management preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud or similar employee management software.
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred.
- Certification in data privacy (e.g., CIPP, CIPM) preferred.
Additional Information
The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed and is hybrid working onsite in Leola, PA a couple days a week.
