Job Description
Job Title: Process Associate – Compliance Support
Reporting To: Director
Work Location: Chennai
Work Timing: Hybrid weekly 3 days (Mon-Wed) from office
Process Associate responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following :
• Review and draft agreements including other documents such as board consents
• Maintain accurate records related to the legal and operational structure of the US entities in accordance with internal policy and US corporate law.
• Basic understanding of contractual concepts such as indemnification and limits of liability
• Perform routine administrative tasks including uploading files, corresponding with internal and external clients, maintaining log notes, photocopying, faxing, and scanning documents
• Provide executive administrative support and handle confidential correspondence and exercise a high degree of discretion and initiative
• Ability to work on multiple processes • Manage legal invoices ensuring payment is made timely
• Completion of forms ensuring entities are properly qualified throughout the US
• Project management skills to assist with variety of tasks ensuring accuracy and timely completion
• Conduct special projects as directed
• Proactively manage customer issues related to the support requirement Qualifications The ideal candidate would possess :
• Total experience of 1-3 years
• Associate degree or at least two years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Paralegal degree preferred. Should have good logical reasoning and analytical skills.
• Should have passion to continuously learn and grow
• Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
• Strong computer and organizational skills
• Experience with MS Office, especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Sharepoint.
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
• Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel, Powerpoint, and Internet research
• Solid understanding and demonstration of client confidentiality.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment, manage competing demands and deadlines, and deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events
• Critical thinking skills, using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weakness of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems
Additional Information
