Job Description

The main responsibility of this position is to perform in-process analytical bioassay sample testing to support both early and late-stage protein, cell and gene therapy programs. 

  • Support method and critical reagent qualifications. 
  • Utilize laboratory techniques such as mammalian cell culture.
  • Perform routine analytical procedures such as ELISAs, PCR, cell-based assays, and flow cytometry. 
  • Be responsible for data integrity and accuracy, and documentation of all analytical testing in an electronic laboratory notebook. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Biochemistry, or other related degree concentration with 3 years industry experience, OR  Relevant Masters with 1 year industry experience, OR PhD

  • Experience with the following skills;

    • ​Pipetting skills
    • Flow Cytometry
    • Aseptic Technique
    • Cell Culture
    • qPCR
    • Cell-Based Potency Assays
    • ELISA / Immunoassay
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

  • Experience working in BSL2 labs

  • Experience with GMP procedures preferred

  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

  • Flexibility to travel between Malvern and Spring House 10% of your time
