Job Description
The Sample Coordination Associate will perform a variety of tasks related to facilities operations that include materials management and operation support in a cGMP maintained environment.
- Will work under close supervision and must follow procedures defined in Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s).
- Will function as a shipping and receiving clerk. Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Assists in the unloading freight
- Moving equipment and furniture
- Manage waste stream(s) in laboratory
- Stock break rooms and perform other duties as assigned
- Accurately maintain Logs and Inventory sheets check received goods and inspect them for damage, distribute supplies
- File documents as directed
- Assist with facility safety preventive maintenance
- Cleaning laboratory glassware
- Clean certain manufacturing areas
- Assist in stability pulls
Qualifications
- Must possess basic math skills
- The candidate must be able to understand and work with computer, Material Safety Data Sheets for a variety of chemicals and compounds
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds and working at least 40 hours per week
- Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
- Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Ability to easily learn and retain technical information.
- High School Diploma
Position pay range is $17-25/hr
Additional Information
Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed.
