Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm. This is a home based position.

The purpose of the role is to assist the Retail team in their work alongside a selection of major retailers, including assisting in managing the retailer’s annual surveillance testing programme for both food & non-food products.

• Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
• Product classification updates
• Work with the supplier’s queries and triaging it to relevant colleagues
• Administrative duties:
  • updating quotes.
  • checking and amending information in FGS.
  • liaising with Retail, Technical, Customer Service and Sample Registration Teams regarding any issues or queries
  • being a first point of contact for Sample Registration team
• Ad-Hoc project support
• Monitoring QA inboxes and triaging queries to relevant colleagues
• Chasing retailers samples to ensure they meet the invoicing deadlines
• Assist with reporting process
• Using the In Progress report to tidy up other samples for reporting, cancelling, and completing

• Experience of working within the food and laboratory industry  would be an advantage
• Microbiology and/or Chemistry knowledge would be an advantage
• Effective communication skills
• Time management skills
• Enthusiasm, energy and a driven outlook
