Together with the customer, we define a project for the required services that our Eurofins employees should provide at the customer's location. During the ongoing project, the responsibility for project management, the previously defined laboratory services and the deployment of our employees in this project lies with Eurofins PSS.

Job Description

For our customer, an internationally leading pharmaceutical company in Bern, we are currently looking to hire a Laboratory Technician (Protein Analytics). Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine and non-routine laboratory operations under general supervision
  • Perform routine analyses (Protein Analytics) for product development and life-cycle management projects
  • Research technical literature and evaluate experimental data and processes.
  • Utilize a variety of laboratory equipment, demonstrating a high degree of skill acquired through on-the-job experience
  • Set up and operate special equipment with limited supervision, following manufacturer's instructions
  • Work within current good scientific practice (GSP) guidelines and adhere to all regulatory standards within the lab
  • Aid and train less experienced employees when required

Qualifications

  • Apprenticeship as a Laboratory Technician (EFZ) /Chemistry or Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, or Chemistry
  • Laboratory experience in biomedical research or a clinical laboratory.
  • Experience with LIMS and ILM
  • Good practical knowledge of the laboratory environment.
  • Fluent in both English and German
