Job Description

Minimum 3 years leadership experience required to be considered

Laboratory Responsibilities

  • Performs bench role in assigned/trained assays (80-90% of clocked hours)
  • Performs all duties relevant to the Quality Control Chemist position as required.
  • Maintains laboratory supplies, media, and reagents inventory.
  • Updates relevant databases and prepares monthly report.
  • Performs laboratory investigation reports where deemed appropriate
  • Uses Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for sample and sample test result tracking.

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Minimum 3 years leadership experience required to be considered
  • Supports and monitors team of analysts
  • May participate in new hire interviews
  • Supports the on-boarding process of new employees
  • Participates in training of other employees.
  • Performs peer review of data.
  • Assists in coordinating equipment maintenance and calibration.
  • Participates in overtime and weekend schedule as required.
  • Able to shift priorities quickly to meet the demands of immediate testing and help others to pivot their focus when needed

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years leadership experience required to be considered

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • Laboratory experience (chemistry/biochemistry preferred)
  • 3-5 Years of cGMP experience
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies
  • Experience with LIMS preferred
  • Experience within fast-paced climate strongly preferred
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, Engineering, or other science related degree concentration, or equivalent directly-related experience
  • 3-5 years leadership experience 
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

  • 2nd and 3rd shift positions will add a 10% and 15% differential to the base pay.
