Job Description
Eurofins Built Environment Testing is a leading IAQ/IH laboratory providing analytical testing, sampling supplies and products, committed to creating healthier living and working environments. We are seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to join our team as the Products Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor. Products Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor
The Products Warehouse and Shipping Supervisor is responsible for the products and shipping department by: gathering, keeping stock, and ordering products that meet customer requirements; product planning and product marketing; defining the products department vision; shipping and receiving vendor and client orders; working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams and Customer Service Executives to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The individual will be required to work closely with the sales team and be responsible for growing the products division in a manner that supports the company's overall strategy and goals.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Oversee the storage, organization, and distribution of products and supplies in the warehouse
- Manage and maintain rental items and ensure proper calibration of the items, as needed
- Implement and maintain efficient inventory control procedures to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate stock levels and timely order fulfillment
- Review invoices, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to maintain adequate supply of products to assure client satisfaction in normal and peak delivery periods
- Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement
- Reduce spending costs by leveraging our buying power in vendor negotiations
- Manage the procurement and distribution of shipping labels, both internally to the various company locations and externally to the clients
- Conduct regular cycle counts and reconcile variances
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Implement and enforce quality control standards to ensure accuracy and integrity of all products received and shipped. Address and resolve any quality issues promptly
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse operations, including key performance indicators (KPIs). Analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Assist in development of product eblasts for marketing. Develop the messaging for new products to existing, and new, client-base
- Run beta and pilot programs with new products and/or supplies
- Set item pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals
- Help grow products revenue and meet or exceed products yearly budget
Secondary Duties
- Lead and motivate other warehouse staff, providing training and support as needed
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing safety guidelines
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to optimize procurement processes
- Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities
- Provide the Company with market intelligence regarding products and analytical revenue streams
- Other responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, preferably in the indoor air quality or related industry
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management best practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (preferred)
Additional Information
The position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Phoenix, AZ are encouraged to apply.
