Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Support site facilities and laboratory operations.
  • Identify, report, and track facilities issues.
  • Resolve facility issues; coordinate with service providers and/or property management to schedule repairs and maintenance.
  • Perform routine repairs, maintenance, and cleaning tasks for the facility where applicable, including but not limited to: replacing lightbulbs, replacing batteries, resolving plumbing issues, cleaning kitchen, etc.
  • Act as the point of contact for routine service providers, property management, and contractors.
  • Maintain cleanliness of office and laboratory areas
  • Assists procurement team with procurement and inventory management, including but not limited to: receiving, ordering, stocking, and auditing inventory.
  • Perform routine organizing, cleaning, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision.
  • Regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Occasional weekend and after hours work (may need to work early morning hour during inclement to communicate facility access)  and on-call work as needed.

Qualifications

  • HS diploma or above.
  • Related experience in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry is a plus, including experience with EH&S standards and support.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities or lab support.
  • Ability to interact with staff and external contractors with a variety of backgrounds.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints.
  • Demonstrates analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines
  • Works independently and demonstrates initiative
  • Demonstrates strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Rate Range: $23.55 - $28.85/hr.
