Business Development Manager

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Sales team. This role is home-based, and you will be working remotely, with support from the other members of the BDM team and from our marketing, inside sales and operational delivery teams.

Through these global locations, Eurofins E&E delivers an extensive range of services covering all aspects of testing, inspection and certification for electrical and electronics products across all industries and market sectors and, in conjunction with companies in the wider Eurofins network, offers its customers a single point of contact for product approvals.

Eurofins E&E UK Ltd has locations in York, Castleford, Grangemouth, Bristol, London, Southampton, Ferndown and Bideford.

What you will be doing

Our BDMs need to be multifaceted in both skill and application. You will generate leads and handle opportunities developed by our marketing team. You will evaluate our customers' technical and commercial needs, determine which service lines will best allow those needs to be met, liaise with various stakeholders to create customer quotes and convert those quotes into orders.

You'll need to be able to manage a diverse day-to-day workload involving Sales, CRM and Project Management, Key Account Management and Problem Solving/Solution Selling.

In addition, with the ability to work at varying paces and meet immediate and short-term goals for your customers and the teams that deliver our services, you will build proposals for mid-to-long-term opportunities using the broad scope of services from across the whole of Eurofins E&E UK and into Europe and beyond.

What you'll need to succeed

You'll come from a role with experience and success in the TIC industry and be a UK resident. Your  technical background within the electrical and electronic arena will give you a natural  aptitude to understand the technical aspects and the skill to simplify this for your customers.

What you'll need to succeed is the ability and tenacity to respond quickly to enquiries, commercially and technically qualify the requirements and create solutions that meet the needs of both the network of Eurofins laboratories and your multitude of customers.
