Our Syracuse, NY team is looking for a temporary Accounting Administrator! An ideal candidate will be able to start mid-October and work until the beginning of April. As an Accounting Administrator you will be working for the Shared Services team and will have responsibilities as outlined below.

This position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager. This is a remote position. 

Schedule: 8am-4pm or 9-5pm Mon-Fri with some flexibility.

Start Date: Mid-October (Tentative) *First 3-4 weeks will be a training period.

End Date: Beginning of April (Tentative)

Key Responsibilities include:

• Create invoices for multiple sites.
• Provide invoicing support to other team members both in and outside of the Shared Services team.
• Coordinate purchase order activity with multiple sites.
• Ad hoc individual assignments and team projects.

Pay Range: $18-$21/per hour. *Subject to your experience.

• Accounting Degree preferred, but not required.
• 1 – 3+ years of accounting or related experience.
• Self-starter, proactive, organized, and ability to work independently.
• A passion for continuous learning, growth, improvement, and development.
• Highly analytical and inquisitive orientation to research business issues and identify solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with a natural desire to create and strengthen relationships, collaborate on teams, and provide excellent customer service.
• A curiosity and strong desire to leverage technology, strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

In order to be successful in this role, the following competencies and behavior skills are required:

• Effectively prioritizing when project or task deadlines conflict.
• Planning and organizing time to complete multiple tasks or projects.
• Team player but also can work independently.
• Detail-oriented and committed.

Position is subject to ITAR government regulations (International Traffic in Arms Regulations).
