In 2021 we moved into a brand new ISO 17025 accredited laboratory in Madison, WI designed to conduct food chemistry testing specializing in infant formula, sole-source nutrition products, hemp and CBD, dietary supplements, and a variety of botanicals. Our testing portfolio includes vitamins, minerals, contaminants, pesticides and shelf-life studies.
We test of a variety of instrumentation including UPLC, HPLC, GC, and LCMS technologies. This position can be worked remotely, hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. Applicatants within the Madison, WI area are encouraged to apply!
Compensation for this role: $21-$23/hour.
Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Initiate collections on past-due accounts through use of email and phone calls
- Resend invoices to clients who request copies
- Communicate with the National Service Center on issues such as unapplied payments, AR aging and statement requests, and forwarding of payment remittances
- Create and send Final Demand Letters for severely delinquent clients
- Create Collection Placement forms for clients who are deemed unable to collect through normal processes
- Communicate with clients about billing discrepancies and questions
- Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.
- Associate Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration preferred
- 2+ years previous Collections experience
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office, Teams, Word, Excel etc.)
- Ability to learn new tasks
- Ability to think critically and solve problems quickly and efficiently
