We have an opportunity for a QC Support Laboratory Technician to join our Eurofins team based in our PSS site in Limerick. There has been substantial growth within this team over the last 12months so it's a really exciting time to join the team.

Job Description
The purpose of this job is to provide laboratory support to the PSS Analytical Team under the customer quality system, using customer company procedures, and while adhering to Eurofins general policies and standards.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the management of samples associated with the PSS Analytical Team.
- Responsible for carrying out water sampling in grey space sampling areas.
- Responsible for accurately logging samples into the relevant systems in a timely manner as required.
- Responsible for ensuring all relevant documentation is completed accurately and logged where necessary.
- Responsible for cleaning laboratory and equipment as required e.g. BSC’s, Fridges, Incubators, etc.
- Participating in all training required and scheduled by the PSS Manager/Group Leader or the customer. Being prepared and on time for that training. Engaging in training processes and ensuring all information received is completely understood.
- Providing training to other team members as instructed by the PSS Manager/Group Leader. Ensuring all training delivered is documented appropriately.
- Dealing with customer queries and to contact designated personnel with any relevant information or issues relating to test results or the service in general.
- Ensuring that all documentation is completed on time. Ensuring that it is accurate and legible and conforms to the relevant quality standards.
- Assisting in laboratory investigations as appropriate.
- Identifying any opportunities for improvement of quality and service and work with the team to implement continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree in relevant scientific discipline.
- Minimum of 6 months laboratory/GMP experience.
- Good planning and organisational skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Good team player
- Strong IT skills
- Good communication skills both internally and externally
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical and/or laboratory operations (GMP, Documentation, Autoclaves, Sample Management)
Note: Shift work is required for this role. Working hours 7am to 7pm
The working week is as follows and these rotate week on week
· Week 1 Mon / Tues & / Fri/ Sat/Sun
· Week 2 Wed / Thur
· Week 3 Mon / Tues & / Fri/ Sat/Sun
· Week 4 Wed / Thur
