Job Description

Accounts Receivable Financial Transactions Analyst responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

· Accounts Receivable Analyst is responsible for the accuracy of the standard operation procedure (SOP) for the Accounts Receivable (AR) Department, supports Business Unit and AR department

· Investigate and resolve problems associated with processing of invoices and cash application.

· Participate in testing, verification, implementation and support of release updates for the financial systems.

· Prepares and analyzes monthly key performance indictors explaining results, trends and opportunities.

· Make recommendations to improve quality and efficiency of the cash application and cash posting process.

· Provides accounting assistance to Finance management team; respond to financial questions/concerns to meets business needs.

· Assist in reviewing/monitoring unapplied cash transactions.

· Ensure group best practices are consistently followed across the cash posting, cash application, and account reconciliation processes.

· Assist with month-end reconciliation/closing and any additional ad hoc reports/analysis as needed

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:

· Must be professional, detailed oriented, strong verbal /written communication skills and a team player.

· Must demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of proper accounting treatment for Accounts Payable/ Receivable transactions and activities.

· Be able to adapt to changes in fast-paced work environment and mange competing demands.

· Strong computer and organizational skills.

· Ability to learn new techniques performs multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions and comply with company policies.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

· Evaluate processes for improvements and recommend changes to management team.

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business required.

· Minimum of 1 year of Accounts Payable/Receivable experience preferred 

· Strong and Effective analytical and problem solving skills required.

· Strong MS Excel and Outlook skills.

· Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m., with additional hours, as needed.  Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to Lancaster, PA are encouraged to apply.
