Job Description

Position Summary:

The Senior Marketing Automation Specialist will be a focused role within the marketing team, supporting global, specialized business lines providing drug discovery services. Working closely with marketing, sales, and CRM administrator, this position will manage the marketing automation for the company, using Dynamics 365 to implement and optimize all programmatic and operational initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for email marketing program development and execution, including segmentation, testing, and deployment, and continually evaluate these for improvements.
  • Maintain Marketing Automation integration with CRM and assist in the integration of additional platforms into the marketing automation software.
  • Understand and evaluate campaign metrics and distribute campaign performance to the marketing team and internal stakeholders
  • Work with management to confirm KPIs, create reporting, analyze campaign performance. Create recommendations to improve campaigns continuously.
  • Manage marketing automation efforts and processes, proactively researching and implementing the latest best practices, strategies, and industry standards.
  • Plan and perform A/B testing to define and execute enhancements to productivity, conversion rates, programs/campaign ROI, and sales growth.
  • Support essential marketing operations initiatives in Microsoft Dynamics sales and marketing hubs, such as managing the lead lifecycle, lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, and data cleansing.
  • Manage scheduling and insertion orders with publishers: Work with 3rd party vendors and coordinating email campaigns and digital advertising from end-to-end: budget, audience target, goals, creation, delivery to vendor, reporting, presenting results.
  • Digital webinar platforms: support event registration and workflow
  • Brainstorming with colleagues for fresh marketing ideas
  • Content and asset management

  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required

Qualifications

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required. 

Education/Experience (BMQ):

Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, or similar degree

Additional preferences:

3-5 years’ experience, preferably in B2B, Biotech and/or agency environment

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

Strong experience managing a marketing automation platforms and fully leveraging its capabilities, with expert level experience with Dynamics 365, Hubspot, Marketo, or similar.

Strong reporting, testing and analytics skills

Basic html experience

Strong project management

Additional Information

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000/per year 

Role allows for remote working
