Job Description

Purpose of the Job and Expected outcome:

The Ambient team lead is a subject matter expert on ambient sample accessioning. Their function is to perform accessioning at a high level while also being a resource for their team and driving accountability.

Key Accountabilities

  • Perform ambient accessioning at an expert level.
  • Provide training to new employees and current employees as necessary.
  • Answer process related questions as they arise.
  • Delegate work to ambient staff.
  • Assist with data cleanings.
  • Assist with performing QC runs to check new study or study amendment updates.
  • Communicate goals from management to ambient staff and drive accountability.
  • Actively participate with global management in process improvement initiatives.
  • Actively participate in daily specimen management huddles

Qualifications

Position Specifications and Job Requirements

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of working experience in a production environment, preferably in healthcare.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with enterprise-grade application (LIMS preferred).

Education

  • High school diploma required
  • 2 or 4 year degree in a business, healthcare, or science field preferred
