Job Description

Position Summary: responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Utilize basic database skills to write queries, extract data for reporting, perform data
  • management tasks.
  • Demonstrate networking skills by tracing cables, replacing cables, and diagnosing network
  • issues.
  • Provide support for end-users on Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell, including automating common tasks and troubleshooting PowerShell
  • scripts
  • Assist users with troubleshooting and utilizing Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel and Email.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues independently and provide timely resolutions.
  • Interpret error logs and event viewer logs to identify and address common problems.
  • Foster a creative and innovative mindset, contributing fresh ideas to improve processes and
  • efficiency.
  • Set up printers and configure multiple display systems for PCs.
  • Manage popular web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Edge, including clearing cache and
  • managing settings.
  • Collaborate with our corporate IT department, create tickets, and resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent. Post-secondary education in IT or related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic database concepts and a desire to improve database skills.
  • Interest in computer networking and a basic understanding of cable tracing and network
  • diagnostics.
  • Solid grasp of Microsoft Windows 10/11 operating systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.
  • Ability to learn from error logs and event viewer logs for troubleshooting purposes.
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and approach challenges from different angles.
  • Interest in learning printer setup and multiple display system configuration.
  • Familiarity with popular web browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, and Edge is advantageous.
  • Effective communication skills and a customer focused approach to support tasks.
  • Strong team player with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

  • Hearing and speaking are needed to listen effectively and talk with individuals in person or on the phone;
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include; close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Additional Information

Compensation range: $19-23 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Position is full-time, Shift varies and requires flexibility for different shifts and overtime as needed.
