Job Description

  • Lead a large team executing multiple Quality Control functions in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Supervising a team of analysts while performing client’s service requirement.
  • Coach, train, and develop others within the group with respect to their personal development and effective implementation of operational procedures.
  • Create and maintain metric systems for Key Performance Indicators to report to the client.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for the client and relay important information to the team.
  • Manage team performance and disciplinary processes.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated environment including leadership experience and a BS or higher in Microbiology, or degree in related fields
  • Preferred Requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) on a daily basis.
  • Knowledge of USP and other regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to lead in a team environment
  • Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing regulatory process including the execution of investigations, deviations, and CAPA
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are required.

Additional Information

Position is full-time, 5 days per week, 8 hours per day, Monday - Friday, Hours: 10:00 am – 7:00 pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Frederick, MD are encouraged to apply.
