Job Description
In a nutshell, PSS Business Unit Manager is part of Management Team for PSS Belgium, oversees a business unit within the organization and is responsible for various multifunctional PSS teams. This person will be a key point of contact for the clients from an operational management point of view and a link with Senior Management in Belgium.
What will you be responsible for?
- Managing PSS Teams at client sites with an eye on high productivity, quality, GMP and safety, resolving problems and customer-service standards;
- Building and managing client relationships;
- Taking care of the best possible service by continually reviewing best practice in relation to both commercial and quality issues;
- Engaging with Business Development and Key Account Managers to ensure opportunities with existing clients, and new opportunities, are identified and pursued;
- Training, developing and coaching PSS Teams (both leadership and scientist level);
- Managing team performance and working together with the Talent Acquisition Manager.
Qualifications
Are you our kind of extraordinary?
- Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences, (Bio)Chemistry or related is a big plus.
- Background: Min 3 years of work experience in the (pharmaceutical) industry with the ability to understand and meet customer requirements and at least 3-4 years at managerial level dealing with variety of people management topics. Experience dealing with budgets is a plus.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in both French and English are a must;
- Other: This position will be covering the French speaking region of Belgium.
