Job Description

In the role of CCO (Chief Commercial Officer) you will have the full commercial responsibility for the Environment Testing Spain Business Line (45 M€ external sales)

In collaboration with the General Manager you will lead, optimize and grow the commercial organization. With your team (25 FTE) you will be responsible for the commercial strategy, pricing strategy, business development (in collaboration with R&D manager), account management and customer support. As a natural leader you will guide your team to the next level, succeed in strong growth following the strategic business plan.

Responsibilities:

  1. Set and execute the commercial strategy in line with long and mid-term Eurofins vision and business strategy.
  2. Realize profitable growth. Execute your commercial plans and hunt for new business.
  3. Develop long term partnerships with key accounts and further growth of the client portfolio.
  4. People management; guide and support a high performance team.
  5. Being well informed about market trends in the industry and close to new legislation to be able to ensue product marketing and new business opportunities.
  6. Customer Support team; coordination of order registration cycle, client questions, client complaints  analytical reports and billing.
  7. Internal stakeholder management; sales, sales support, production (laboratories), logistics, finance, etc.
  8. Implement a continuous improvement culture.
  9. P&L ownership. Budget forecasting and realization. In close cooperation with the General Manager.
  10. Participation in M&A processes

 

Location: Preferably Castellón but not required.

Qualifications

We are looking for an energetic leader who is able to set ambitious targets  in line with our exceptional growth story. Able to set a commercial strategy and drive the execution. The ideal candidate is a pragmatic hands-on sales manager who possesses the ability to organize and support a high performance team.  You bring a track record of sales in environment business.

  1. Bachelor or Master degree in a technical discipline.
  2. Business acumen and well-developed analytical skills. MBA is a plus.
  3. Affinity with the Environmental industry
  4. At least 4 years’ experience commercial track record in a B-to-B environment; in business development and account management. Full sales cycle, strategy plus execution.
  5. People management experience is a plus.
  6. Experience with continuous improvement, change, project management.
  7. IT savvy.
