Job Description

The Senior Security and Risk Analyst has a high-level view over the technical infrastructure of the region and each laboratory in scope, advises on security improvements, and ensures that the relevant security risks are known and processed adequately.

This role is part of the Regional IT Security Office for multiple European businesses of the Eurofins Group (Agroscience, BioPharma, Technologies, Consumer Product Testing Europe).

At regional level:

· Ensure that security is considered within the regional architecture, with a “security by design” approach based on Group standards. Review the configuration to ensure it aligns with standards.

· Review and approve complex changes to the IT infrastructure.

· Embed security within each IT process.

· Design and run “security checkpoints” to review security before an application is deployed, or before a new laboratory is integrated.

· Design adequate Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity procedures when needed.

At laboratory level:

· Work with businesses and local IT teams to create and manage a security plan for each laboratory independently, when needed.

· Adapt policies, procedures, guidelines and/or standards and their implementation to the needs and capabilities of each laboratory, and to regulations applying to each.

· Work with newly acquired laboratories to improve their security posture based on our list of mandatory security improvements.

· Support laboratories during third party audits.

Qualifications

· At ease with managing multiple priorities, ambiguity and a rapidly moving business environment; quick learner and adaptable.

· Strong Emotional Intelligence with demonstrated leadership in a large organization involving multiple stakeholders.

· Demonstrated ability to work with diverse people. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate information security and risk-related concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.

· Strong leadership abilities, with the capability to guide IT operations personnel, and work with minimal supervision.

· Experience in establishing cyber security and risk metrics for reporting.

· Good understanding of IT technology to ensure the achievement of business outcomes where the business process is dependent on technology.

· Experience working with legal, audit, operations and compliance staff.

· Experience developing and maintaining policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.

· Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) Certification, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certification, and/or Project Management certifications preferred.

· Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) the European Union Privacy Directives preferred.

· Fluent English mandatory, knowledge of French preferred.

· Master’s degree from an accredited institution, with degree preferred in Computer Science or Information technology systems security or related field and 5+ years of relevant experience preferred although atypical profiles are welcome to apply.
