Job Description
Human Resource Director's responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
This position supports the company by promoting, communicating, and implementing human resources strategies and initiatives. Build and maintain influential relationships by being a strategic partner with Executive Management, Directors, and Managers and an advocate for employees. Oversees all the HR professionals within the organization. Provide guidance on employment law, coordinate performance management, and resolve employee relations issues. Provides advanced-level guidance on human resources policies and procedures such as payroll, benefits, compensation, employee development, and recruiting. Works collaboratively with both the National Service Center and the Clinical Diagnostics HR Teams.
- Strategic planning of the organization’s workforce. Collaborates with senior leadership to understand the organization's goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
- Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.
- Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; applies this knowledge to communicate changes in policy, practice, and resources management.
- As a member of the Executive Team, support business objectives through the development of personnel strategies that support company goals and initiatives.
- Maintains a strong network of HR support within broader Eurofins and US Clinical Diagnostics to create a supported, flexible, and responsive HR team with a high sense of urgency and strong customer orientation.
- Acts as a practical visionary for the organization. Collaborates with Executives on Company initiatives. Provides input on strategic vision and business goals
- Provides direction and educates management on functional HR areas such as recruiting/employment, performance management, organizational development, compensation, and Associate relations
- Leads conversations with the Executive Team and Management to ensure the efficaciousness of policies and procedures.
- Creates and maintains a culture, rather than simply a work environment, for the organization. Cultivates an inclusive, positive, and productive workplace environment. to fit the business model for growth
- Design and develop organizational efficiencies based on the needs of human resources and gap assessments
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the corporate financial plan and manage personnel spending accordingly
- Oversee hiring and changes to key personnel in accordance with Eurofins’ KEL process
- Assesses hiring practices and retention strategies. Develops methods to retain talent within the organization.
- Develop overall corporate compensation philosophy to ensure market appropriateness of all roles within the organization while maintaining budget control
- Oversee development and implementation of policies and procedures
- Ensure legal compliance with all programs, policies, and practices
- Understand and communicate industry and legal trends, regulatory and compliance requirements
- Reports on the progress of the HR department to stakeholders and other Directors
- Counsel associates and management on career development
- Demonstrate strong leadership skills through supervision, coaching, and mentoring of others
- Direct due diligence and operational tasks of mergers and acquisitions
- Demonstrate ability to manage conflicts and issues regarding matters of significance
- Demonstrate ability to make hiring and termination decisions
- Utilize a strong network of contacts both inside and outside the Company
- Represent the department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established Company standards and associate attributes at all times
- Other duties as assigned by management, including interim management of other departments or functions
- Demonstrate exceptional stewardship of Company resources; focused on making data-driven decisions
Qualifications

- High level of proficiency with PC based software programs, particularly Excel
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 7 years of professional Human Resources experience required
- Minimum 3 years of management required
- Previous experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner preferred
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification is preferred
- In-depth understanding of budget and fiscal responsibility
- Broad knowledge of business operations and impact of HR actions
- In-depth knowledge of HR legal and regulatory requirements
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills. Ability to influence leadership and others outside of span
- Ability to keep sensitive information confidential
- Ability to partner directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on employee relations issues and/or a variety of personnel matters
- Willingness to work outside normal business hours as job dictates
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship
Physical Qualifications:
- Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
- Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
- Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
- Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions

Additional Information
Position is full-time, Monday to Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with overtime as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Centennial, CO are encouraged to apply.
