Job Description

This is a new role supporting the sales and business development of Eurofins | BLC sustainability products and services.  This role will be pivotal in meeting the strategic targets for sustainability services.  Some travel both within and outside of the UK will be expected

The Role:

To support in the business development and sales of Eurofins | BLC sustainability services and assume responsibility as a business lead for all products and services.  This includes, but is not limited to, business development of services such as supply chain traceability, waste management, lifecycle analysis, recyclability and circularity.

Main duties: 

  • Business development to include sales of sustainability and consulting services.
  • Developing new products and services within the sustainability services family (for example, tools, audits, training)
  • Capacity building within the Eurofins commercial teams to scale the sales of sustainability services
  • Supporting the marketing plan for sustainability services; providing technical copy, posts, and content.
  • Liaising with current and prospective clients
  • Forecasting of sustainability services sales

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

  • Ideally degree educated in sustainability or relevant subject area and proven experience in leather or textile supply chains and/or chemical industry
  • Ideally have a proven successful track record in business development
  • Must be goal-driven and motivated to meet and exceed targets
  • A driven, enthusiastic and confident individual with outstanding communication skills
  • Demonstrates a self-motivated, resilient and above all positive approach with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to travel to client sites across the country (pool car provided) and international travel when required

The Eurofins │ BLC team works with chemical companies, manufacturers and brands and retailers across the leather, textile, synthetic industries offering a variety of sustainability and supply chain risk mitigation services.
