Transplant Genomics Inc. (“TGI”) is a molecular diagnostics company committed to improving organ transplant outcomes with non-invasive serial monitoring guided by genomics. TGI’s product portfolio of both individual and combined blood gene expression and dd-cfDNA testing is capable of reliably detecting subclinical kidney rejection and acute rejection in kidney transplant patients with stable kidney function, in addition to a new application for liver transplant patients that guides and controls the optimal dose of immunosuppressants.
Job Description

TGI is searching for a Client Service Specialist (CSS) in Fremont, California. This CSS will possess exceptional customer service skills who excels at building trusting relationships with customers and colleagues. Candidates must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette, project a pleasant tone regardless of the nature of the call, as well as exhibit empathy towards our customers. The ideal candidate always looks to go above and beyond general job expectations in an attempt to provide our customers with the best possible service experience.
Essential Job Duties:
• Handling Daily Incoming/Outgoing Phone and email inquiries with excellent attention to detail, a strong sense of urgency and follow through
• HIPAA Compliance: Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and good judgement
• Data entry and data verification, as well as record keeping and good documentation practices
• Assisting with shipping supply inventory to individual clients/Medical Centers • Resolving issues by engaging other Company resources as appropriate, such as providing lab test results, coordinating follow-up testing, and clarifying test results
• Ensure ongoing customer satisfaction
• Communicating problems encountered with specimen handling to the appropriate client
• Notifying patients of the need for specimen recollection; obtaining additional patient and physician information
Qualifications
• High school diploma, or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
• Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting
• Experience in a medical setting and with medical terminology, and/or transcription preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills, a demonstrated ability to work effectively with multiple disciplines, and a good team approach
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, administrative skills, and above-average computer skills
• Highly organized, good documentation skills, and attention to detail
• A result- and goal-oriented attitude, integrity, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment; flexible and quickly adaptable to changing priorities
• Ability to function independently
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Physical Requirements:
• Physical dexterity sufficient to use hands, arms, and shoulders repetitively to operate a keyboard and other office equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
• Ability to speak and hear well enough to communicate clearly and understandably with sufficient volume to ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting
• Ability to continuously operate a personal computer for extended periods of time (4 or more hours)
• Mental acuity sufficient to collect and interpret data, evaluate, reason, define problems, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, make valid judgments and decisions
• Must be vaccinated against the novel COVID-19 virus variants or provide proof of approved exemption
Additional Information
Position is full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-5:00pm. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Fremont, CA are encouraged to apply. Compensation Range $28-$37/hr Comprehensive medical coverage, dental, and vision options.
