Job Description

The Role:

To support the innovation and development of new products and services whilst refining and improving existing services in sustainable chemistry. To provide technical customer support in chemistry-related topics for Eurofins Sustainability Services.

Main duties: 

  • To be the principal point of contact for chemistry enquiries for all Eurofins consumer product testing laboratories
  • To innovate and develop new products and services to drive revenue growth in line with commercial strategy
  • To build sustainable chemistry services and manage and implement specific chemical-based projects
  • To work collaboratively with the marketing and sales functions to communicate chemistry-specific topics and new products and services, this may include written copy and webinars
  • To support customer enquiries relating to chemistry services and write compelling proposals to secure significant commercial contracts with clients
  • To manage, chair and attend chemistry-specific working groups within the entire Eurofins Group to support the development of commercial services
  • Report to senior management teams on progress against agreed objectives

Qualifications

What We Are Looking For:

 

  • You will have a degree in Chemistry or Toxicology with a higher degree preferred but not essential.
  • You must have proven experience and extensive knowledge in chemicals within consumer products.
  • You must have an interest in sustainability and how this relates to chemistry.
  • You must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, to convey key chemistry messages confidently to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ideally experience working in a commercial, profit-generating environment but not essential.
  • You must be able to work independently with minimal oversight and collaborate effectively with all stakeholders
  • You must have an enquiring, entrepreneurial and innovative mind and be able to contribute to strategic discussions.
  • You must have good IT skills, particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Additional Information
