Job Description

Our client is a global leader in Life Sciences.  The scope of these services is associated with the optimisation of methodologies across a number of analytical disciplines and subsequent pre validation assuring accuracy, precision and robustness of methodology associated with drug substances (biologics), the services shall be aligned with:

  • Development and optimisation of methodologies.
  • Support validation activities assuring suitability of methods.
  • Generating and documenting data from experimental work.
  • Conducting a broad range of analytical techniques including ELISA, Biacore, and cell based techniques.
  • Utilize the corresponding software.
  • Using fully electronic media including electronic notebook to capture analysis.
  • The scope of work shall be conducted to a high level of proficiency within the required timeframes and associated data collated and reported in line with the preferred format.
  • To support trouble shooting, resolving methodology issues to assure suitability of associated sample results.
  • Understand & comply with company, regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Raise and complete regulatory records as required and prepare GMP documentation.
  • Conduct laboratory housekeeping and performing instrument maintenance and reagent / consumable stock checks.

Qualifications

  • • BSc in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • • Demonstrated experience in a range of relevant analytical methods.
  • • Knowledge and experience of ELISA, Biacore / Surface Plasmon Resonance, and cell based methods.
  • • Experience of working in a pharmaceutical environment.
  • • Demonstrated knowledge of regulatory and GMP processes.
  • • Good time management, organization and planning skills.
  • • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • • Ability to work on own initiative and be capable of developing solutions to problems as part of a team.
  • • Willing to operate in a flexible manner and be able to switch priorities at short notice. Seeks new ideas to make improvements within own area of control.
  • • Passionate about quality and customer service.
