Eurofins Bio Pharma Product Testing B.V. is part of the international operating Eurofins. The organization is the largest Dutch contract laboratory for the pharmaceutical industry. We are currently inviting applications for the position of Business Development Manager to join our growing team. You will be working in the field of Raw Materials and High-end Analytical services.

This position suits a “sales hunter profile” which will go together with a proactive, pragmatic & entrepreneurial spirit, furthermore you have around 3-4 years’ experience in sales/ business development and are ready to roll up your sleeves.
We offer:

• This is a partially remote position with 40-50 % travel (mostly in the Netherlands)

Responsibilities:

• To sell and promote Eurofins BioPharma Product Testing division’s services
• Grow business with current customers as well as win new business.
• Pro-actively identifying new potential clients or leads and “cold calling” such potential clients and develop the business with them.
• Conduct phone, video calls & Face to Face meetings with customers
• Build up in-depth knowledge of EBPT services
• Handle customer requests in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate and co-ordinate new business with the operational teams.
• Identify new market opportunities
• Attending conferences and trade shows as required

• Previous sales/Business development experience.
• A Master degree or higher in a Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biotechnology.
• A positive attitude with the drive and work ethic to meet targets
• The drive and ability to work on their own initiative as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and oral)
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• A valid driver’s license & driving experience in the Netherlands.
