Job Description

How can you help us?

As a Filed Service Technician you will be responsible for providing L1/L2 support for Eurofins IT users in the area of front-end devices and maintain users' satisfaction with their IT working environment, as well as, end user account maintenance; including account creation, ongoing maintenance and deletion. Part of responsibilities will include maintaining the front-end IT infrastructure (Workstations, Smartphones, Teams, etc) and ensure their reliability. You'll be working in standard Service Desk operating procedures.

You will also:

  • Assume ownership and provide consistent follow-through to assure problems are resolved and respond to last minute requests..
  • Interact with programmers and Infrastructure staff on issues that have been escalated.
  • Prepare documents regarding all interactions and problem resolution and follow ups
  • Administrative tasks related to Microsoft technology such as Active Directory and Exchange and AntiVirus tools and several other.

The Field Service Technician is the single point of contact between the users and the development team maintaining and supporting the applications. The Field Service Technician manages incidents and change requests. He owns the incidents received from the users (via a ticketing system, email, phone, or other communication channels), and manages the necessary escalations, ensuring that the issues are resolved or routed to the most appropriate persons in the team.

The Field Service Technician works with the development team, takes part in the configuration and testing of the supported applications. He maintains the knowledge database, writes documentation, and trains the users.

As a perfect applicant you will have ability to communicate with individuals with all levels of technical and non-technical skill sets and you will be able to manage conflicts through good problem solving and achieving and maintaining a high level of technical proficiency. 

You'll have experience in IT Service Desk position and you worked with software troubleshooting ability for problem research and error isolation, working with Microsoft application and solving PC based hardware, software and network components issues. 

For this position we require ability to communicate in English (B2)
