Job Description

This role is available for full- and part-time students working on their engineering degree and offers flexible work hours of up to 30 hours per week Monday – Friday.  This position will support our EMC engineering team with the testing of client products to various electromagnetic safety standards.

Tasks/Responsibilities:

  •       Learn how to perform EMC/Wireless testing and document results to meet client regulatory needs.
  •       Work under guidance of EMC/Wireless engineers, technicians and manager to support equipment testing.
  •        Ability to understand and test a wide range of electronic equipment to various EMC/EMI standards.
  •       Follow test procedures and work instructions.
  •       Maintain efficient, neat and presentable workstations.
  •       Other duties as deemed appropriate by management and for which management believes adequate experience exists, or for which knowledge can be easily obtained in order to perform such duties.

 

Qualifications

 

  •        Currently working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, ideally Electrical Engineering or Electronics.
  •        Basic knowledge of EMC/EMI phenomena and theory.
