Come join our growing team! The Paid Media Manager will be a focused role within the marketing team, supporting global, specialized business lines providing drug discovery services. Working closely with the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, this position will restructure and manage the paid media strategy for the company across paid search, paid social, retargeting, display, video, and emerging digital channels.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and optimize paid media plans for internal stakeholders, including: channel, budget, message and creative recommendations to hit both lead gen and revenue goals
  • Develop and own client-specific performance metrics, continue to refine a deep understanding of front and back-end KPIs and create projections and drive results
  • Partner with web resources to rigorously implement tags and monitor both traffic and conversion through the web channel and adjust our approach as needed
  • Monitor search queries to ensure proper match types are enabled, update negative keyword list, and spot keyword expansion opportunities 
  • Write & deploy new ad copy to test, ensuring each ad group has adequate coverage and present ad copy test findings in a meaningful manner
  • Track performance, pull reports, analyze data and communicate actionable insights specific to driving conversions and present findings to internal stakeholders on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Continually optimize paid media mix to meet awareness, engagement, pipeline and lead gen objectives with day to day analysis of campaign performance
  • Collaborate with marketing team members to build integrated paid media plans in support of key launches (brand, campaign, events)
  • Help streamline processes and create efficiencies
  • Evaluate agencies, media and other vendor offerings and performance as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with paid media marketing trends and potential new channels, technologies, media options, and strategies to keep us ahead of the competition
  • The Ideal Candidate Would Possess:
  • Hands-on experience in managing monthly client campaign budgets from $15k+
  • Strong skills in excel: charts, pivot tables, and v-lookups
  • Google Data studio or similar reporting experience with data visualization
  • Metrics-driven with experience pulling complex data from various platforms (CRM, Google Ads, YouTube Ads, Google Analytics, LinkedIn ads, Facebook ads, etc.), and delivering reports, dashboards and insights
  • Experience managing strategies, budgets and campaigns across multiple digital channels and tactics
  • Demonstrated a/b testing results
  • Implement and manage tracking using Google Tag Manager
  • Demonstrates and promotes the company vision
  • Regular attendance and punctuality
  • Applies GMP/GLP in all areas of responsibility, as appropriate
  • Conducts all activities in a safe and efficient manner
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Owns the accountability and responsibility of delivering to client needs and timeliness
  • Provides cross-functional support to other departments as required
  • Adjusts work hours as needed to meet client deadlines
  • Adheres to site environmental health and safety (EHS) requirements

 

Qualifications

Education/Experience (BMQ):

  • Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, communications, or similar degree

Additional Preferences:

  • 3-5 years’ experience, preferably in B2B, Biotech and/or agency environment

Ability and/or Skills (BMQ):

 

  • Copywriting skills with solid foundation in grammar usage
  • Strong knowledge of paid media (search and social), reporting, and analytics platforms
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
