Job Description

Our laboratory in Santa Clara, CA, provides a range of specialized engineering services to accelerate product release, address capability and capital equipment gaps, solve manufacturing problems and manage risk. We offer the broadest the most comprehensive range of microelectronics services of any commercial organization with large scale brick and mortar install base of systems and tools and the engineering expertise to design, develop, test, analyze, and debug the most innovative technologies and products.

EAG Laboratories has an opening for a PCB Design Engineer who will be responsible for design and layout of PCB burn-in and ATE Boards. In this role, you will be developing PCB layouts, perform component placements and determine wire routings. taking design inputs provided by the customer (PDF and Excel) and creating the schematic and layout design files (Orcad and Allegro) to enable the customer to complete the necessary stress or tests on their device.  You would be expected to communicate with the customer to clarify any of their requests and provide files for them to review.  Design review meetings may be necessary with the customer to make any changes or clarify the board design.  You will be a part of a team of designers, so another facet of the position is to provide a final review of the design files from another designer before these are released to production.

You’ll be required to multi-task to keep several projects moving forward while keeping other people on the team updated. It’s a fast-moving environment and where there is collaboration between team members as well as other departments with the common goal of meeting our clients expectations. 

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have AS or BS degree in Mechanical drafting or Electrical Engineering with 3+ Years of experience working in PCB layout and/manufacturing environment. Must be proficient with Cadence (Allegro, OrCAD), in creating PCB layout for Burn-in boards for HTOL, HAST and MCC platforms and ATE load boards, ability to read and work from schematics and able to demonstrate ability to handle multiple functions at the same time and maintain good organizational skills.

Compensation Range: $82,384-$97,337
