Job Description

TITLE:                                Business Analyst

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:  

We expect this role to work with business users.  Elicits, analyze business needs of stakeholders.  Document and work with different teams for solution implementation.  Act as key bridge between business users and project development team.                                                                  
JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Understand high level objective of the business needs and expectations.
• Conducts interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios etc
• Document the requirements in standard format for consumption (including use case, flowcharts etc.,)
•  Works with stakeholders and project team to prioritize collected requirements in successful completion of the project.
• Ensuring good practices and high-quality standards are implemented and followed.

SKILLS REQUIRED:

• 3 to 6 years of experience as Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in software solutions development project or product.
• At least ONE full year of contribution to a single product / project a must.
• Experience with business requirements, creating Epics, Themes and User Stories
• Collaborate with Stakeholders to elicit, review and document requirements.
• Experience with business requirements, user requirements, and user stories
• Produce Scope and detailed requirements documented and signed-off by stakeholders
• Prepare and perform functional tests and make sure that acceptance criteria are met before releasing to end-user for UAT.
• Ensure that User Stories prepared and updated during the development life cycle in order to have UpToDate specifications. 
• As required, Review Test Scenarios and Test Cases provided by QA team. 
• Should be able to make wireframes, mock-ups and facilitate prototypes as necessary for a given situation.
• Strong background in Software Development/Engineering
• Experience in testing the functionalities delivered by development team
• Knowledge of process modelling
• Escalate and follow-up on timely manner any and all issues that might be a blocker, issue, deviations for completion of software development.
• Contribute to the troubleshooting, tests and documentation of selected applications functions, at a high-quality level.
• Work with the development team to resolve issues.
• Understand overall requirements and prepare automation strategy (framework, priorities, planning which is to be integrated with overall project plan)
• Prepare Test schedules in accordance with project scope/delivery dates.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaboration with Software Architect(s) and other technical groups within Eurofins (Includes design, documentation, prototyping and validation)
• Usage of Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Azure DevOps

Methodology skills :

• AGILE Development (Scrum)

Personal Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal/written Communication, Interpersonal and Presentation skills. And can explain complex functional/technical concepts with ease (via diagrams, flowcharts etc.,).
• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship skills

BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor’s degree with the right experience.

PREFERED CANDIDATES:

• The successful candidate will have a self-motivated, get-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details and quality.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team in Europe
