Eurofins Agroscience Services is looking to digitalize its paper based GLP processes by developing a Lab Execution System in order to improve the quality of data and services delivered by its 1700+ customers worldwide. This is a strategic and highly visible program, directly driven by senior management.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES:    

Job description:

• Design, develop, deploy and support web applications, solutions as per business requirements and built the services upon Microsoft Stack.
• Maintain, modify, optimize and extend existing solutions as a part of support and performance optimization projects..
• Providing day-to-day support and technical expertise to functional consultants and developers.
• Working together with other team members to ensure high quality of delivered solutions.
• Ensuring good practices and high quality standards are implemented and followed.
• Help other teams to make the link between highest-level concepts and actionable requirements.
• Performing other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Engineering Defree in Computer Science/MCA or  any other Bachelor’s degree with the relevant experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• 10+ Years of Work Experience in  software design and development, database design and development, and system integration.
• Good knowledge on SOA/Microservices architecture implementation
• Good experience with Microsoft technologies, specifically: .NET full framework/.net core/ASP.NET.core development,
• Strong knowledge on web client development framework (Angular 8+, MVC)
• Good knowledge on Test Driven Design and Behaviour Driven Design approach (unit testing and BDD tools)
• Experience in cloud implementations like Azure.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Collaboration with Software Architect(s) and other technical groups within Eurofins (Includes design, documentation, prototyping and validation)
• Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED

• Strong experience in Web development (.net core, ASP.net core, MVC, Angular8+, TypeScript, JavaScript Framework)
• Experience on ORM (Entity Framework/ Entity Framework core).
• C#, MS SQL Server, Restful Services (Web API).
• Strong working knowledge on server side development (backend - Asp.net (core), MVC Web API, Entity Framework)
• Good working knowledge of MSSQL – SQL, T-SQL etc.
• Strong working knowledge of application development using .NET, C#
• Good understanding and experience on Unit testing framework (NUNIT or VS Unit Test)
• Windows Services and Microsoft Information services (IIS).
• Experience or Understanding on Workflow framework like WWF or similar
• Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) project
• Good understanding of UML, object-oriented programming (OOP) and Object Oriented Design principles
• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Knowledge on monitoring or measuring tools like GrayLog, SonarQube, AppD
• Understanding CI / CD tools like MS builds /  Octopus / Jenkins
• Working knowledge of ESB or Message Queuing (MSMQ) is an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture style and principles
