SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Eurofins Agroscience Services is looking to digitalize its paper-based GLP processes by developing a Lab Execution System in order to improve the quality of data and services delivered by its 1700+ customers worldwide. This is a strategic and highly visible program, directly driven by senior management.

This role reports to the Project Manager and may require international travel ( 10%).

Primary Responsibilities:

Here are some specific responsibilities that this role requires:

• Translate concepts into wireframes and mock-ups that lead to intuitive user experiences.
• Design and deliver these wireframes and mock-ups.
• Take a user-centric design approach and rapidly test and iterate your designs.
• Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new functions and features.
• Collaborate with other team(s) and stakeholders.
• Adopt the designs to the larger application theme and improve the user experience

Skills required:

• A solid grasp of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems and usability and accessibility concerns.
• Ability to work with business stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet product needs and vision
• Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions and deep understanding of responsive design
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate and document design processes, ideas and solutions to teams
• Be open to receive feedback and constructive criticism.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 6 years of UX design experience and at least 2 years of experience in designing complex solutions/screens

Stack:

• Expertise in UX software such as adobe XD, Balsamiq, Sketch, Figma and the like
• Web based platform

• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal/written Communication, Interpersonal and Presentation skills. And can explain complex functional/technical concepts with ease (via diagrams, flowcharts, etc.,).
• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail-oriented, responsible team player and exhibit exceptional relationship skills 
• Candidate to have a do-it-done attitude; the ability to think critically; enjoy working with teams spread globally and across cultures; a desire to learn in new areas; and the discipline to pay attention to deadlines, details, and quality.
• Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems
• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing complex environment.

Engineering Defree in Computer Science/MCA or  any other Bachelor’s degree with the relevant experience.
