Job Description

How can you contribute?

You will join a challenging and unique large-scale Transformation Program with high impact and visibility. As Systems Engineer - Microsoft 365, you have extensive experience in designing and implementing Microsoft 365 services. You will support users in an O365 hybrid implementation by testing and troubleshooting issues with O365 cloud technologies, such as OneDrive, Teams and SharePoint. You will also act as vendor technical support for Priority 1 incidents and requests. 

We rely on our engineers to empower our users with high availability, excellent performance levels and key service. Ideally, we are seeking an experienced engineer to deliver insights and guidance as we design, build and operate a state-of-the-art on premise and multi-cloud “greenfield” infrastructure. We are looking for someone who is able to bring both ideas and solutions, demonstrates a unique and informed viewpoint, and enjoys collaborating with a cross-functional team to develop real-world IT service.

In the role of Systems Engineer - Microsoft 365, you will:

  • Design and implement Microsoft 365 services, Security & Compliance's, Users and Licenses;

  • Plan Office 365 workloads and applications Teams, Groups, SharePoint Online, OneDrive;

  • Identify, diagnose, and resolve connection, reliability, or performance issues;

  • Contact vendor technical support for Priority 1 incidents and requests;

  • Develop PowerShell scripts to automate repetitive administration tasks; 

  • Validate system upgrades and patches when required;

  • Ensure that IT Services are delivered effectively to business customers, incl. the execution of SOPs, management of IT Incidents/Problems and IT Changes;

  • Deliver quality documentation allowing for smooth day-to-day operations; 

  • Perform system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all involved infrastructure resources;

  • Participate in disaster recovery plan and practice of recovery operations;

  • Participate in an after-hours on-call support (rotation) and implement solutions (upgrades, new releases, etc.), patching and deployment activities after hours as needed.

Qualifications

Are you our kind of extraordinary?

With a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or similar, you have a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, migrating and delivering Microsoft cloud solutions on Azure and Office 365 platforms.

Your technical skills include:

  • Expert knowledge in Microsoft 365 Services (Exchange Online, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint Online, Teams, and Endpoint Manager);

  • Experience implementing and maintaining Microsoft 365 solutions (capacity planning, installing, configuring, administering and migrating);

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Azure fundamentals;

  • Familiarity with mobile device management solutions (Intune);

  • Experience developing technical and user documentation;

  • Experience with PowerShell scripting to assist in the automation of tasks.

Certifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert certification is an asset;
  • Agile or ITIL Foundation certifications are a plus.
