Eurofins IT Infrastructure provides IT support for all Eurofins sites through an IT Service Desk and IT Operations teams.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As an Automation Engineer you will work closely across different parts of IT, process and internal systems. You will be responsible in providing technical expertise on automation projects which includes crafting and maintaining automation frameworks. Develop solutions with best practices and Dev Ops mind set from architectural design to orchestrating every technical stack in the system design.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive assigned projects (technical) as an SME (Backend). Which includes

  • Developing Scripts/API/middleware to automate different aspects of processes or application.

  • Developing pipelines for data/process to build ETL frameworks.

  • Design, build, and orchestrate automated solutions

• Develop and configure Automation applications and tools

• Multitask with varying priorities on task leads.

• Duties will involve communicating between cross-functional IT squad to business units.

• Design new technology concepts based on customers’ requirement

• Document all solutions and maintain for user reference

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required

• 3-5 Years of Software development experience (full-stack)/ Software Engineer/ DevOps Engineer
• Excellent scripting knowledge (PowerShell/Python/JS)
• Autonomous management of full stack development and DevOps pipeline builds
• Good exposure working with Cloud based applications and Infrastructure
• Experience with common Database Management Software (MSSQL, MYSQL)

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required, postgrad will be a plus
• 3-5 years of prior experience working in development
