Eurofins IT Infrastructure provides IT support for all Eurofins sites through an IT Service Desk and IT Operations teams.

POSITION SUMMARY:

As a Solution Architect (Data Engineering) you will work closely across different data engineers and stakeholders to define, design and develop best data frameworks/modals for any related projects. You will be forefront as the data custodian for the team on any Data Engineering projects

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Drive assigned projects (technical) as an SME. Which includes

1. Developing Scripts/API/middleware to automate different aspects of processes or application.
2. Developing pipelines for data/process to build ETL frameworks.
3. Design, build, and orchestrate automated solutions

• Custodian for the data analytics space within the team. (Security, Privacy and ETL)

• Work hand to hand with Data Engineers to understand, design and develop Data pipelines / Data modals

• Spearhead conceptual/logical data modal/framework for each projects

• Gatekeeper for data governance, best practices, lifecycle of data, and documentation within the team

• Review and approve solutions designs with accountability on the solutions integrity.

• Multitask with varying priorities on task leads.

Basic Minimum Qualifications (BMQ):

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill or ability required.

• 6-8 Years of Software development experience (full-stack)/ Software Engineer
• Designed or worked on scalable infrastructure stacks for analytics space
• Experience in Data modelling, data architecture setup, warehousing and handling large datasets
• Experience in managing and building data pipelines (Jenkins or any relevant ETL tools)
• Experience with common DBMS (MSSQL, MYSQL, PostGres, MongoDB, Cassandra)
• Outspoken on ideas/solutions
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable solutions in the analytics space
• Scripting Master for building data pipelines (PowerShell/Python/JS/PHP)
• Good exposure working with Cloud based applications and Infrastructure
• Good competence with Agile Development approach

 Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field required, postgrad will be a plus
• 6-8 years of prior experience working in Data analytics space/Software development
