Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

  • Operate flow cytometer instrumentation
  • Upkeep, calibration, maintenance of the flow cytometer
  • Mammalian cell culture, maintenance of cell lines
  • Execute experimental approaches and new analytical technologies and assists with continuous improvement of analytical tools
  • Problem solving, executing experiments according to the SOPs, GMP guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

  • At least 1 year of experience with multi-color Flow Cytometry
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to problem-solve
  • Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude
  • Ability to learn new techniques quickly

Basic Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS or MS  in Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or related Biological Sciences
  • Hands-on experiences in flow cytometry and mammalian cell culture techniques
  • Able to handle multiple projects within a fast-paced work environment
  • Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living in a commutable distance to West Point, PA are encouraged to apply.
