POSITION TITLE:                    Senior QA Engineer

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Smart quality analyst required to work as an automation test engineer to deliver high quality product, by speeding up end to end test cycles.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

• Mandatory experience in automation testing and strong coding skills in C# or Java.
• Understanding of integration with test management tool.
• Performing the review of the Test Scripts from other team members.
• Should have good knowledge of Defect Management process and be able to perform Root Cause Analysis of Defects arising out of Automation Runs.
• Automation Testing Experience in large enterprise applications with variety of front ends - Web and Mobile and backend (Database, Web services, messaging interfaces, etc).

Technology skills:

Mandatory

• Strong understanding of object-oriented language, coding skills in C# of Java
• Experience in testing web services, Rest REST APIs.
• Automation using XUnit, Selenium and POSTMAN
• Hand-on experience in Services testing tools like Fiddler, JSON Lint , SOAP UI, POSTMAN
• Strong understanding of SQA methodologies
• Should have working knowledge of SOA testing principles.
• Experience with database queries
• Good Interpersonal skills working in agile scrum team
• Strong team player

Preferred

• Experience between 4 to 6 years.
