Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION AND OBJECTIVES:

Eurofins Technologies is a new international business line (IBL) within the Eurofins Group which is developing, manufacturing and marketing technologies and other supplies in the field of bioanalytical testing. Initially, the business will focus predominantly on food safety technologies and use the broad expertise within the Eurofins group to create well differentiated offerings in this fast growing market. The Assistant Customer Service Executive supports the Sales team with customer service, international logistical and administrative support.

POSITION & OBJECTIVES:

1. Customer Service

The position holder is expected to engage with customers and provide timely support, facilitate and improve customer service experience. He/she will be required to take ownership of customers’ requests and follow through to resolution.

2. Supply Chain and Logistics Coordination

The position holder will be required to process purchase orders, liaise with the internal logistic teams in Europe and USA to coordinate triangle shipments and prepare the required paperwork for each consignment. He/she will independently engage with customers on order and shipment updates.

3. Administrative Support

The position holder is responsible for general administrative work and customer service functions, and assists to phone and email enquiries.

4. Ad-hoc Duties

Occasionally the Assistant Customer Service Executive will be required to support the sales team with ad-hoc duties as required within the Singapore team.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

The ideal candidate will have an educational background in supply chain management, logistics administration or other relevant fields. He/she shows an attention to details and has excellent organisational skills. Previous experience with supply chain or logistics is of advantage.
