NUMBER OF FTEs UNDER RESPONSIBILITY:  1

Job Responsibilities: 

1. Oversee and conduct method development of LC-MS/MS bioanalysis of novel small molecule and large molecule compounds from animal samples

2. Conduct solid-phase and liquid extraction techniques for isolation of parent compound or metabolite(s) from biological matrices

3. Understand and troubleshoot LC-MS/MS assay methods

4. Analyze PK data with a software package such as Phoenix WinNonLin

5. Review bioanalytic data and PK data to ensure appropriate quality control, interpretation and documentation

6. Author technical protocols, reports and SOPs, in English, of the bioanalytical methods and the analysis and interpretation pharmacokinetic data

7. Manage multiple projects and deliverables and assign priorities

8. Assist in the planning and management of resources and budget for bioanalytical lab

9. Perform routine instrument maintenance

10. Other duties may be assigned

1. Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Science or Chemistry with 5 years industry experience in bioanalysis 2. Demonstrated hands-on leadership of a bioanalytical chemistry laboratory including analytical assay development for novel small molecule and large molecule drugs and potential drug metabolites 3. Demonstrated scientific knowledge of drug discovery, pharmacokinetics and DMPK/ADME 4. Knowledge of SCIEX LC-MS/MS systems and MultiQuant Software

1. Ph. D. in Pharmaceutical Science or Chemistry with 5 years industry experience in bioanalysis
