Job Description

This position performs all assigned chemistry techniques with minimal supervision. This position will demonstrate a good understanding of GMP and scientific principals and their cause and effect on scientific outcomes as practice of GMP/GLP is routine.  This position authors and may review other scientist’s protocols, reports, specifications and test methods and will present results at team meetings with interpretation.

Qualifications

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

•Proficiency performing all assigned laboratory techniques.

•Ability to learn the process of developing analytical methods on a variety of analytical techniques and instrumentation.

•Ability to learn to perform method validation by authoring protocols, reports and analytical methods and may review or critique others.

•Experience troubleshooting analytical methods and instrumentation.

•Routine practice of and compliance with GMP/GLP

•Experience with notebook review

•Interest/experience assisting with projects from analytical/formulation/process development from lab scale to exhibit manufacture.

Minimum Qualifications:

•BS in in Chemistry, analytical chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related field and 1+ years of relevant lab experience
