Eurofins Lancaster Laboratories, a nationally recognized laboratory, is searching for an experienced High Throughput ADME Scientist to support our Professional Scientific Services group in San Diego, CA.  

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR ROLE

• Microsome stability assays using a Tecan liquid handler and/or manual process
• Plasma protein binding and/or tissue binding assays
• LC/MS/MS method developing using Discovery Quant on a Sciex mass spec
• Liver and intestinal microsome and binding data analysis and QC
• Demonstrate ability to learn new techniques, work with Senior level associates to solve problems, prepare technical reports; and evaluate new instrumentation or process techniques
• Ensures labs are clean, safe, and organized to ensure efficient performance of activities
• Adhere to all site safety, environmental and industry hygiene procedures and practices, and actively participate in maintaining and enhancing the safety of the workplace and the laboratories

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Demonstrated effective communication, oral and written, in a multi-disciplinary, project-driven work environment
• Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• May be required to work periodically out of normal business hours
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective interpersonal and communication skills are required

• BS in Biochemistry, Biology or Chemistry, or related field with 3-4+ years of industry experience, or MS with 2+ years of experience
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

Position is full-time, Monday through Friday (8 a.m.-5 p.m.), with overtime as needed.  Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of South San Diego, California are encouraged to apply.
